| | | | | I have never had a bad experience in booking hotels online, as I had with Ebookers. I had booked a hotel in New York, for my 3-day stay there. I had seen the price of a particular hotel in Ebookers site, to be £10 per night stay. I was shocked to see that £66 was deducted from my credit card, instead of £30. When I contacted the customer service, they said that the cost per night stay in that particular hotel was £22, and not £30. When I said that it was mentioned only as £10, they started arguing that such a thing has not happened. I did not have any other proof to state that the amount was £10 that I had seen on the site! I cancelled the rooms and asked one of my friends in New York instead, to book a good hotel for me. I could have done it long back, to have avoided this unnecessary tension! They might have made a mistake while updating the site, and instead of admitting it, they argued that such a mistake had not happened at all!
