A new service has been launched to help media companies get a share of the \u00a33 billion UK affiliate marketing industry.<\/span><\/p>\n

One of the UK<\/st1:place><\/st1:country-region>\u2019s biggest networks of incentive shopping portals V A C Media<\/a> Ltd (formerly eDeals UK Ltd) has launched Cashback Partners<\/a> for media companies.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019s an easy way for TV channels, radio stations, newspapers and magazines to increase website revenue every time listeners or readers do any online shopping.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The website www.cashbackpartners.com<\/a> explains the concept of cashback shopping, and how readers benefit from cheaper shopping while boosting media profits. <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Existing deals with non-media partners include NHSCashback<\/a> and Purple Parking<\/a>. <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The site\u2019s marketing manager Nadeem Azam said: \u201cCompanies like GMTV and PayPal have started to do this recently as a service for their audience. This is about easily adding a free online shopping channel to an existing media website.“<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cReaders and listeners do their usual online shopping from 1,400 retailers and earn cashback. A major chunk of the referral fee paid by the retailer is given back to the shopper, and a large chunk of the rest goes to the media company.“<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThis can quickly become a hugely profitable revenue stream for media companies with very little effort. All the work is done for them meaning it becomes an automatic revenue stream.”<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

V A C Media<\/a> Ltd (formerly eDeals UK Ltd) has been providing cashback services for hundreds of thousands of customers, who have saved on millions of pounds of shopping over the last four years.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

It has 44 staff supporting its 180 websites, including 45 loyalty reward portals run on behalf of partners.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

In all the company give customers cash back from more than 1,400 UK<\/st1:country-region><\/st1:place> retailers.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Affiliate marketing grew by 45% in the UK<\/st1:place><\/st1:country-region> last year, with sales exceeding \u00a33 billion in 2007.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n
